Meredith welcomed 69 admitted students on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for Scholars鈥 Day.
Admitted students interviewed with faculty, staff, and current students to be considered for Meredith鈥檚 Honors and Teaching Scholars programs. During the interview sessions, staff and faculty mingled with parents and families over brunch.聽
鈥淭his day allows prospective students to connect with current students and to learn more about the academic enhancement programs and the dynamic community that Meredith provides,鈥 said Dr. Cece Toole, director of the Honors and Teaching Scholars programs.
Current Honors and Teaching Scholars students led campus tours and hosted informational panels, allowing admitted students to ask questions and gain insight into what it鈥檚 like to attend Meredith.聽
Marina Ostrowski, 鈥26, an Honors student studying social work and psychology, participated in Scholars鈥 Day for the fourth time.聽
鈥淚t鈥檚 exciting to meet prospective students, see the potential next class of Honors students, and hear about their experiences, ambitions, and interests,鈥 said Ostrowski. 鈥淎fter four years of interviewing, it鈥檚 become a valuable experience where I can reflect on how my confidence has grown and see how I鈥檝e developed different skills.鈥澛
Admissions Counselor Grace Dunn, 鈥25, said many campus partners came together to make the event a success.聽
鈥淪taff opened the library, the art gallery, and the Campus Store for admitted students,鈥 said Dunn. 鈥淭hey were able to use coupons and get their first pieces of Meredith merch! Both parents and students seemed to enjoy their time on campus.鈥澛Visit for more information about the Honors Programs or for information about Teaching Scholars.
